How is Chic&Budget 131 like?
It is an affordable accommodation in a clean, comfortable environment that feels like at home away from home.
Chic&Budget 131 is a historic brownstone duplex guesthouse located in uptown Manhattan, with 3 spacious rooms with private bathroom each of them, fitted wardrobe save, i-pod docking station and flat screen TV.
Double room: up to 2 people with a double bed and the private bathroom outside the room.
Parlor room: up to 3 people with a double bed, a sofa-bed and the private bathroom outside the room.
Garden room: with its own fabulous backyard! Up to 3 people with a double bed, a sofa-bed and the private bathroom inside the room.
The shared spaces are the kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator and a living-dining room with a table, chairs and sofa.
The rooms are all very catchy decorated, have air conditioning for hot summer days, fitted wardrobe, private bathroom, safe and flat screen TV.

Directions
From the JFK airport, take the Airtrain to 'Jamaica' station and transfer to the E train to Manhattan. Get off at '7th Avenue' station and transfer to D (non all stops) or B (all stops) train towards Uptown. Get off at '125th street' station (take 127th exit) and walk up 8th Avenue to 131st street.
From La Guardia airport take the M60 bus to 125th St and 8 Av (or Frederick Douglas Av) then walk up eighth Av. to 131st
From Newark airport take AirTrain to Newark Liberty International Airport Train Station.
At Newark Liberty International Airport Train Station, take a NJ TRANSIT® or Amtrak® train to New York Penn Station.
At Penn Station take the A or D express subway trains towards Uptown and get off at 125th street Station (exit 127th street) and walk 8 Av. up to 131st St.
