Description
'Peacefully located close to the River Salzach, a 25 minute walk from Salzburg's Old Town, the hostel is the ideal spot to visit the city's sights. Rooms have 1-6 beds, most with private bathroom, and facilities include TV room, cafeteria, a large garden, and a kitchen serving lunch, dinner and packed lunch.
We also have WLAN and internet access in our friendly cafeteria. TV lounge, table tennis, outdoor chess, volleyball and a large terrace with a barbecue guarantee a holiday not to be forgotten. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available.
For non members we add Euro 3,-- per person per night for welcome stamps.

The best way to the Youth Hostel Eduard Heinrich Haus:
Arriving by train:
Take bus no. 3 from the main train station in the direction of Salzburg Süd. Get off at Polizeidirektion and cross the main road (Alpenstraße). Once you've crossed the road you'll see a Citroen-Centre on the corner. Go down this street (Billrothstraße) and keep on this street until you get to Eduard-Heinrich-Haus.
Coming by car:
Leave the motorway at the junction called Salzburg Süd. Follow the road sign to Anif whilst leaving the motorway. Drive towards the city of Salzburg. After about 2,5 kilometres you'll see Citroen Frey on the right. Drive down this road (Billrothstraße) until you get to Eduard-Heinrich-Haus.
