Description
We are on the best location in Montreal i.e., Ste. Catherine Street West. The nearest metro station is Guy-Concordia, only one minute walk away. Our private room has its own toilet and shower and the room is for two (2) people only, unlike other places private rooms have no toilet or shower and other occupants also share that so-called private room. Whereas, we don't put strangers in your room only if there is a 3rd person from same group, 'must' pay extra charges. Booking for 3 people is possible, contact hostel.
On special occasions, high season week-ends minimum 3 nights stay is required, starting Friday to Sunday and cannot be combined with regular days or else full week-end rate shall be applied on all days. Infants and small children are not allowed as we do not meet required safety standards for protection.
Full payment is needed for special occasions like Formula-1, Canada Day, long week-ends such as Labour Day, Victoria Day, etc., after the booking is made, in case of a cancellation or customer decides to shorten stay for any reason there will be no refund for any amount whatsoever. Please note this point concerning cancellation very carefully before making your own on-line booking especially for special occasions. In case of cancellation other than special occasions where there is no refund, for regular days one night full rate cancellation charges shall be applied plus the govt. taxes..
After making your on-line booking please check your email account and respond by email as you will receive a confirmation email from the Internet Booking Agency and also from us.
Check-in time is 13 :00 hrs & check-out time 10:00 a.m., late or early check-in is possible, but must be arranged. Contact hostel directly through email for check-in and for any changes in your booking. Cancellation charges apply if not notified in writing on time.
IF late check-in is NOT arranged with the hostel in writing it will be considered as a 'No-show' after 16:00 hrs on the date of arrival. Hostel management reserves the rights of admission, for acceptance / refusal of cash / credit cards or, for changing rates anytime without notice.

Directions
Only 5 minutes by taxi from Central Train Station. From Pierre Elliot Trudeau (Dorval) Airport it is only 20 minutes by taxi. Take exit #3 'GUY - Centre Ville' it will bring you to St. Marc Street. Turn right on St. Catherine. We are at the corner of St. Marc Street and St. Catherine Street and it is 1854- St. Catherine Street West. Great location.

From the USA if coming on Highway 132 or Interstate 87 or 89. Follow signs from the border for downtown Montreal & Champlain Bridge. Stay in the middle lane on Champlain Bridge which is 4 k.m. long DO NOT TAKE EXIT # 58 FOR MONTREAL / CENTRE VILLE, it takes you to downtown BUT you will have to stop at 19 traffic lights before reaching our place.
So, after the Champlain bridge keep going further for another 3 k.m. following the sign of Dorval Airport and stay in RIGHT LANE, TAKE EXIT # 63. BE CAREFUL there is a fork, so stay RIGHT and TAKE 720 EAST / CENTRE VILLE. After 2 k.m. you will see EXIT #3 marked 'CENTRE VILLE - Rue Guy' take that and you will come to the first traffic light which is Boul. Rene Levesque, cross the traffic light & go straight for 100 meters.
YOU are now on St. Marc street and 100 meters from there is the first traffic light i.e., St. Catherine Street.
Turn RIGHT at St. Catherine street and STOP immediately, ours is the 4th building on your right, 1854 i.e., St. Catherine Street West. Below in the same building you will see the Inn Tourist neon sign flashing light.
PARKING
During the day the parking meter charges are CAD3.00 per hour. After 9:00 p.m. its for free till 5:00 a.m. There are at least 7 paid parking lots within 2-5 minutes of walking distance from our hostel. Parking is not a problem. But, do not park in the open parking lots for over night as there is no supervision. The best covered / supervised underground parking lot is at the corner of Ste. Catherine street and McKay street which is only 3 minutes walk away from the hostel.
