Located in the Sestiere San Marco, just ten minutes by walk from St. Mark square and Rialto Bridge, the "Academy" is near the most important Museums such as Palazzo Grassi, Cà Rezzonico, the Academy Gallery, the Peggy Guggenheim, Palazzo Fortuny, Cà Foscari.
Just around the corner you can find a variety of small Art Galleries & studios run by contemporary Artists and, the San Samuele and Santo Stefano neighbourhood is where the Artists belong to Venice.
The building also is a prominent historical palace from the 16th century and the facilities are recently renovated.
Venice Academy offers private rooms, Mixed and Female dorms, 24h free WI FI, room for luggage storage after checkout. Minimum stay required is two nights on weekends (fri-sat-sun)

The "Academy" offers mixed and female dorms: with four or five beds.
All beds are new and have comfortable mattresses;
WI FI is available both in the lobby and the bedrooms.
The Building, built in the 16th century was an aristocratic residence until the 19th Century. The 5 beds mix dorm has a wonderful view on the alleys while the other rooms are wide and bright facing a private garden in front.

Academy Venice is next to the Palazzo Grassi on the Grand Canal and is served by two waterbus stations: Sant'Angelo and San Samuele, from which there are no bridges to cross to make it very easy to get with your own luggage

TAKE NOTE: waterbus line 2 doesn't stop at S.Samuele past 5 PM. Take line 1 instead
From piazzale Roma-FERROVIA take waterbus line 1 or 2 direction Lido
By line 2, get off at San Samuele, take the street at your left hand, passing the museum Palazzo Grassi. Walk straight for about 200m until you see a crossroad with a restaurant ( Osteria al Bacareto ) on the right and a small grocery ( Alimentari ) on the left, then go left in front of the grocery shop, Calle Corner O del Magazen. It's the second door at the right side, number 3389. Congratulations! You arrived!
By line 1 get off at S. Angelo, walk by Campo dell'Albero, turn right and walk beside a canal until you reach a bridge ( Ponte del Pestrin ), walk the steps and keep straight until off the bridge on Piscina San Samuele, turn slightly left and walk few meters until the first right turn, Ramo di Piscina, take it and you'll see a restaurant ( Osteria al Bacareto ) on the left and a grocery store on your right ( Alimentari ), go just past the shop and turn right on Calle Corner o Del Magazen,walk few meters, second door on your right is the 3389, congratulations, you arrived!
Please remember bed sheets are an extra cost and there is a city stay tax in Venice.
In Venice the house numbers usually spread around the main alley ( Calle ). Try to figure if numbers are increasing or decreasing to understand your direction.
When lost u can ask for Osteria al Bacareto, we are next to it and is very famous in Venice.
