At check in, guests must present one of the following: 1. a foreign passport 2. a Canadian driver's license 3. an out-of-state American driver's license. Guests may also be asked to present proof of travel.
People under the age of 16 are not permitted to stay in dorm rooms unless entire dorm is rented. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone. Travelers with small children should contact the hostel directly before booking.
Directions
From Greyhound: Exit station onto Broadway and turn left (East), walk 4 blocks until you come to 5th Avenue, turn right (South) and walk 2 1/2 blocks down 5th Avenue. You will see a row of international flags hanging from our building. Our front door is between two Italian restaurants.
From Amtrak: Exit station onto Kettner Boulevard and turn right (South). At Broadway (1/2 block) turn left (East) and follow above directions.
Driving:
From I-5 South take Front Street exit. Exit ramp divides, keep right on Front Street ramp. Take Front street to G Street, turn left onto G. Take G six blocks to 5th Avenue, turn left onto 5th, we are the third door in from the corner - between two Italian restaurants.
From I-5 North take J Street exit. Bear left at 19th Street and turn left onto Market Street. Take Market 14 blocks to 5th Avenue. Turn right onto 5th, the hostel is one block up on the right hand side, between two Italian restaurants.
