Las Palmas was the first lodging in Salento and has been offering comfortable and affordable accommodation and friendly service to travellers for over 20 years.
Together with her son Sebastian, daughter Anna Maria and the house cat Mono (but really more like Garfield), Dona Lisa keeps Las Palmas clean and comfortable while providing all the usual backpacker facilities. The family atmosphere and traditional decor makes this a cozy place to stay in Salento.
There is a well equipped kitchen available for guest use and a pleasant roof-top terrace with a stunning view, dining area and laundry facilities. There are 8 rooms, all of which are airy and spacious and have varying capacities with there own bathroom and hot showers will be available at anytime. Also Las Palmas has one computer with free internet access for guests. You will find a couple of shops right outside the hostel and the main plaza is just a few blocks away.
Dona Lisa will always be available to give information about renting horses, day trips to valle de cocora, coffee tours and help out with any other requirements you might have.
With the beauty of Salento and the charm of this hostel you might find it hard to leave and end up making planes to stay for ever.
Dormitories from 20000 colombian pesos (breakfast included) and privates 25000 colombian pesos. Prices may increase at peak times and festive seasons.

Directions
You can take a bus or a cab to Salento from Armenia which should take you more or less 45min, by arrival just ask the busdriver to drop you off by the fire station.
Now just walk one more block down the road and you will see Las Palmas on the right-hand side where we will be happy to welcome you at anytime.
